Why the Change?
Starting 12-8, to improve security and protect sensitive student information, SIUC has separated information access from payment access, as the payment access will now require multi-factor authentication (MFA). Students must now authorize users in two different systems to provide full access to their account details and payment options.

How do I set up Authorized Payer access for more than one student using the same email address?
email address but create 2 separate usernames.
If the same email address is used, you must create a separate username for each student’s Authorized Payer account. This is required for security, since each username is tied to one student’s financial information.
How it works:
• Each student sends an Authorized Payer invitation to the same email.
• When you click “Register” in the second student’s invitation email, you’ll see a
message stating that the email is already associated with an account.
• Select “Create Account” (not “Log In”).
• You will then create a new username specifically for that student’s account.
You will end up with separate usernames (logins) for each student, even though the email address is the same.
